Under the Stars: A Summer of Transformation
This summer, we’ve had the privilege of staying at our cosmic soul friends’ farmstead in Idaho, and it’s been everything we needed and more. It’s the perfect space to settle into RV life, close enough to grab essentials to make life more adventurous and comfortable, and far enough from distractions to dive into a summer of deep transformation.
This summer has truly been a portal of medicine magic—in both the best and hardest ways. We began our RV adventure in June, diving headfirst into the hottest months of the year. Switching lifestyles while trying to stay cool was an adventure of its own. Covering windows, sealing off every crack, and surviving the brutal hours of 1–5 PM with extra AC units became part of our daily rhythm. But once the heat gave way to cooler evenings, the real magic began.
We found bliss in the simple beauty of Idaho nights—watching the sun set and the moon rise, the cool breeze brushing against our skin, the bullfrogs’ chorus, and the scent of vanilla extract keeping mosquitoes at bay. Those moments under the stars felt like pure poetry. As we disconnected from the outside world, a new connection within ourselves ignited. Night after night, sitting beneath the vast cosmos, it felt as if the stars were whispering their wisdom, opening a portal to divine remembrance.
Cosmic Connections and Soul Lessons
These nights brought up some of life’s deepest questions. Why are we here? Why do we choose to reincarnate on this dense, messy planet, again and again? Surely, there’s a purpose. As the stars twinkled, they seemed to offer glimmers of remembrance, teaching us to lean into the joys and sparks of life rather than the drama and triggers. It’s a message we’ve heard before, but this summer it felt so deeply rooted in truth: focus on the glimmers, the happiness, and the joy.
Spending this time with Malorie and Kent has added another layer of magic to the summer. Life works in mysterious ways—ten years ago, I filmed their wedding as my very first paid gig, and now, a decade later, we’re staying on their property, falling in love with their magical little ones, and healing our souls under the moonlight.
Their farmstead is a true labor of love, a physical manifestation of their heart and soul. It’s been so inspiring for Kurtis and me as we dream of having our own farmstead one day—a place to host retreats, garden, and cultivate sacred spaces on the land. Witnessing what they’ve poured into their space makes that dream feel tangible, real, and within reach.
Malorie and I have shared some powerful shamanic healing experiences during our weekly ceremonies. These moments of connection, reflection, and soul work have been transformative, reminding us that life is as much about giving as it is about receiving, and that healing is an ever-evolving journey.
The Time Is Now!
This summer has been a true portal of change and transformation, one that has pushed us, inspired us, and brought us closer to the essence of who we are. It’s a reminder that to live a life of magic, you have to take the leap. The world is designed to keep us confined and comfortable, but our hearts and souls crave so much more.
Of course, the mind fights back, telling us to stay safe, stay small, stay still. But is that really why we’re here? We don’t think so. This life is about taking up space, dreaming big, failing, and trying again. It’s about saying yes to the moments that matter most and choosing to live fully in the face of uncertainty.
No one is guaranteed tomorrow. That thought can either paralyze us or ignite a fire within us. How would you live if you knew this was your last year? What dreams would you chase? What legacy would you leave behind?
There is no better time than right now to embrace the life you feel called to live. Because life is far too short to wait. Do the damn thing.
